What Do We Offer?
We offer a range of services to meet the needs of every youth that comes to us. Have something else in mind? Send us an email! We can probably make it happen.

Homework help
Having trouble getting started or motivated? Need help understanding an assignment or course material? A staff member can sit with you and help for as long as you need, all subjects are welcome.
Exam Prep
We can help you build a realistic study plan, practice questions, or an approved memory aid. We can also provide a quiet space to study.
Bring your assignments, notes, textbook, or school portal login if you have them. If not, we can still help you make a plan

Health and hygiene supplies
Our discreet bathroom drawers may include pads, tampons, condoms, lubricant, deoderant, floss, hair ties, lip balm, and disposable toothbrushes. Take what you need - we don’t count.
Need something we don’t have? Email us or add it anonymously to one of our in house suggestion sheets.
Pregnancy tests
Ask our coordinator (Kayla) privately in the office, use an anonymous sheet or email us. No questions asked, take the test at our center or bring it home.
Whatever the result, our coordinator can help you understand your options and facilitate the next step.
We want to help you feel safe, comfortable, and prepared.

Productivity Plans
Falling behind on schhol, chores, appointments, or your social life? Tell us what feels difficult. We can help you prioritize, build a schedule, and create an action plan that feels manageable. You can return any time to adjust the plan.
Job search support
We can help you search for after-school, part-time, summer, or first-job opportunities, create or improve your resume and cover letter, prepare for interviews, and think through possible references.
You set the goal. We help make the next steps clearer.

Appointment support
We can help you find contact information, understand the process, and book appointments. Examples include STI testing, pregnancy care, abortion care, general medical care, counselling, and school meetings.
Need a different kind of appointment? Ask - we can most likely help.
Resource navigation
Come to the office or email us with any specific concern. We will help research trusted options, explain them in plain language, and connect you with the service that fits best. We can help bridge the gap between needing support and actually receiving it.
You stay in control of your choices. Our role is to make services easier to understand and access.

Free dinner three times a week
Dinner is free for youth registered in our drop in program. No need to explain why you are eating with us, even if it’s just to eat with your friends!
Ask staff or email to inquire about this week’s dinner times and menu.
Need more food support?
If food is difficult to access at home, tell us privately. We can help connect you or your family with local food programs and community organizations.

Abuse can include:
Physical harm or threats
Sexual pressure, unwanted contact, or exploitation
Emotional abuse, humiliation, intimidation, or isolation
Controlling money, transportation, clothing, friendships, or technology
Harassment, stalking, bullying, neglect, or unsafe conditions at home or online
What we can do
Listen without blaming you
Talk through immediate safety and next steps
Connect you with specialized help and stay with you through the process when possible
You can ask general questions without naming anyone
If a young person may be unsafe, staff may have to get additional help - we will explain this clearly before it happens.
If you fear your own or someone elses life might be in immediate danger, please contact emergency services.

You want straightforward information about a substance and it’s risks, You are worried about your own use or someone else’s, you feel pressured, out of control, or unsure how to cut back, or if subtance use is affecting school/money/health/relationships.

How we can help
Have a calm, non-judgemental conversation
Help you think through safer choices and a realistic next step
Connect you with medical, counselling, harm reduction, or addiction services
You do not have to identify as “addicted” to ask a question or get support.

A crisis might look like:
Thoughts of suicide, self-harm, or feeling unable to stay safe
A panic attack, extreme distress, or feeling completely overwhelmed
Seeing or hearing things others do not, severe confusion, or losing touch with reality
A sudden major change in mood or behaviour
Concern that someone may seriously hurt themselves or someone else
What we will do
Stay calm, listen, and help reduce immediate distress
Focus on safety and involve appropriate support
Help you contact a trusted adult, crisis professional, or emergency service when needed.
Immediate danger? Call 911 or text 988 for 24/7 suicide crisis support

Every situation is different. We help youth navigate school, food access, appointments, mental health, substance use, and other every day challenges.
